The coal industry is making plans to “Paint Coal Pink” on Friday in support of October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Pink hard hat stickers have already been distributed that read “Coal Miners Care. Shine Your Light For A Cure!” Industry officials are partnering up not only to encourage miners to wear pink during their shifts on Friday, but to also help raise money for cancer research.
