Get Zija-fied!

The new buzz in the Maddox Household is ZIJA!  Kris and I started taking Zija 3 weeks ago and have already seen great results.  It has given us both unbelievable lasting energy, we are sleeping better and overall just feel better.  The fact that Kris has lost 9lbs and I have lost 7lbs makes me like it even more.  And the fact that I got paid some sweet CA$H for signing up 2 people, it has me on fire!  I am so excited to see where we will be in 3 month, 6 months, 1 year, 5 years with this company.  We are in a great circle of friends who haven given us so much support and have answered any questions that we've had.  I have recently found 2 business cards from where 2 other friends ask me too take a look a Zija in the past 6 months and I declined both times.....ughhhhhh!  Why did I do that????  I wish we had found Zija years ago.  I guess all things are planned out for us and I think we were just waiting on the right group to join up with.  I (heart) my Zija family!!!

Now if you don't know about Zija, its time to get.....

Zija increases energy, promotes a lean body through appetite suppression and weight management, and contains over 90 verifiable antioxidants and vital proteins.  There is so much I could tell you about Zija!  And so many testimonies from real people.  I'm am hosting our first Zija PBR in hour home this Sunday, Feb 27th at 2:pm and I  invite all my local friends to come join us.  I promise there is no pressure to join.  We only share the info we have, answer any questions you might have, and most of all, we get to share our home with all of our friends.  And for those who know me well, know that opening my home to you is what makes me the happiest!

Real Housewives February Social

This evening I hosted the Real Housewives of the Underground February Social.  We had a total of 14 here today, pretty good for our first Meet & Greet, or should I say Meet & Eat.  Here's a little peek at the delicious food we had.

And some group picts!

And here's the whole group.  We've been called many names this past week ......the grown up version of Hee-man Man Haters, Estrogen Overload, and Secret Society of the Underground.  All too funny, I'm sure the guys ears were on fire tonight.

I had a great time with all you lovely ladies, I'm excited about our next meet in March! Everyone have a good week!

Snow, Hearts, & Isabella

Last week we got another big snow.  The photo below says it all.  I will never have another car as long as I live out in the Boone-Docks!  We'll I consider more than 3 miles from town the Boone-Docks! HA!  Here I am again, stuck!  Can't get up the driveway.  At least this time I made it 1/3 up the drive, during the last snow I had to park 1/2 mile down the road in the church parking lot.

Friday night we met Kris' parents and his sister & family to eat dinner.  Our niece Isabella begged to go home with her Uncle Kris and Aunt Misty.  So for the very first time, she spent the night!!!!  We had so much fun.  But her poor momma cried when we left with her :(  She missed her baby girl so much.

Don't you just love the "CHEESE" from Karson!

Karson is so good with this precious girl.  He loves her so much!

After dinner, we headed home to play. She thought is was so funny scaring her Uncle Kris.

Time for Bed!  It was so much fun having a little one to snuggle with.  She did wake up at 2:30am to go potty and then said "ok, time to play"? lol  She was so funny and so serious.

Monday we went out to eat for Valentines Day.  The only photo I got was me and my lil man Payton.

My mom & I started on some simple curtains for my kitchen this week.  I'm just about done with all the new carpet and painting so I'll post pictures as soon as I get the house back in order.  I didn't want to spend to much on window treatment considering that I want new counter tops and new paint on the walls.  So this is a sneak peak of my $60.00 investment.  I just love to save $$$$, that means more to spend on something else!

Well I hope your Valentines Week was full of hugs and kisses! Mine was pretty great, spent it with all 3 of my favorite boys.  One another note,  I'm hosting a party this Sunday for my coal friends.  I'll post picts of all these crazy girls next week, should be good time, til then have a Fabulous Friday!

Just an average week

This past week has been a bit busy and blogging has been at the bottom of the list :(  My parents were away for the week so between keeping up with work, kids, and the house I've just been busy.  Last Saturday I went to Hop-town to watch my niece Kinley play ball.  She's #2 on the far right.

Afterwards we spent the day shopping and going out to eat. I let her choose the place, so Steak n' Shake it was.  She looks so big in this picture.

I was trying to decide between a Grilled Chicken Salad or the Loaded Chicago Hot Dog.  She said I needed the hot dog.

And she got the mini burgers.

Earlier I said  my mom and dad were out of town.  They went on their winter cruise with their Topless Cruiser Car Club.  Looks like they had a really good time.  My mom and dad are the two on the far left.

Don't they look sweet here!

Oh and I can't forget to tell you about my new find for the week.  Kris and I are getting Zijafied!  You can go HERE to see what it's all about.

Kris and I both feel really great right now and both have lost 3lbs this week.  I'll update you as we go along.  Hopefully it will be a progress report!

Karson has been getting ready for the March TKD Tournament.  Here's a few action shots from the past week.

And a few of my friends ask about my oldest Lane.  Why I don't blog about him more.  Well the truth is he's 14, hates getting his picture made, and too cool for moms blog.  So if you would like to see what he's been up to, you can go to his youtube account HERE.  He loves to make videos and some are very entertaining.

And I can't close this post without a few pictures of dinner with my nephew Payton a from a few weeks ago.  He is such a lil stinker!

Children make our life so wonderful.  They are truly a blessing from above.  I just love them.

Chile Miners go to Disney!

Last week the rescued Chilean Miners were treated to a week of fun sponsored by Walt Disney World.  If you are not familiar with their story click HERE to see my first post on the progress in Chili.  And HERE to see my post on the rescue.
I would of loved to be at Disney World during their visit.  We were there last year at this time.  Three of my favorite things, Miners-Rescuers-Disney!!!!

"HAKUNA MATATA"...it means no worries - The Lion King

So Karson & I are the only ones out of the family that will wear ears when we go to Disney.  But maybe on the next trip, Kris will take up with these, just saying, its possible.  As Walt Disney would say "Its kinda fun to do the impossible"
